Patent use number MK 827.

Bore is sharp and bright.

Finish is Bright Blue with minor silvering to sharp edges with the forestrap and backstrap which have faded to gray/brown.

Grips are in excellent condition.

Top of barrel is marked John Rigby & Co. London.

The oak case. Is beautifully refinished.

Internally the green baize is in perfect condition indicative of relining.

The maker’s case label shows wear and tear.

Accessories include a wiping rod, screwdriver and pewter oil bottle.
