Excellent bores and grips, Nickel silver front sight. Light random pitting is present as shown in the images.
This example is the folding spur trigger variety which is particularly desirable as it permits either double action (normal Lancaster) or single action. This is accomplished by holding back the spur with the index finger and firing with the trigger finger.
The case is the standard English Oak ensemble. The partitions are loose and the baize lining is worn, consistent with the condition of the gun. The lid contains the standard brass disk which is unmarked.
The case includes a crystal oil bottle, wiping rod and 4 dummy rounds.
This is a very handsome, tight example of a rare gun made in 1889.
