BOSTON ALMANAC’S (11 Volumes)

$ 495.00

Catalog No.

7A

This is a significant, composed collection of eleven Boston Almanacs, spanning the years 1840 to 1862. They were collected from individual sources and are in various conditions. This represents a desirable and unique opportunity to view daily life in a distinguished city in its evolving years into the Civil War.

It should be kept in mind that most of these volumes were carried by their owners on a daily basis and have commensurate wear. Fascinatingly, several are annotated with details of their daily life.
